Boulder County Sheriff’s Office

SALARY: $60,756.00 – $74,136.00 Annually

DESCRIPTION: The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office’s Community Assistance Program provides service to victim of serious crime or traumatic incidents by having trained volunteers respond to the victims, either immediately on-scene, or as quickly as possible after a crime or critical incident occurs. The work is accomplished by victim advocate teams: one team working on-call to provide immediate response and the other team providing outreach to victims. The Volunteer Advocate Coordinator is a part of the Community Assistance Team and is responsible for coordinating and monitoring crime reports from the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Lafayette PD, and Louisville PD to provide both on-scene and outreach to victims who have not been served by the on-call on-scene volunteer advocates. The coordinator also shares responsibility for recruiting, vetting, and training volunteer advocates. The coordinator supervises 35+ volunteers who contact victims of crime to provide crisis intervention, community resources and referrals.

Brighton Police Department, Brighton Office for Victim Assistance

SALARY: $56,596.80 – $75,441.60 Annually

DESCRIPTION: Respond to crisis situations 24/7 when needed, having the ability to assess a victim’s safety and needs at the time of the incident, and the ability to communicate effectively with law enforcement officers. Provide on-scene crisis intervention, support, inform and referrals for victims of crime in the cities of Brighton, Commerce City, Fort Lupton, and Lochbuie. This position must work well independently and with teams while providing excellent, respectful customer service and human relations skills which support the City of Brighton’s mission and values.

DESCRIPTION: The Language Justice Specialist (LJS) provides training, technical assistance, and systems advocacy on the intersections of anti-oppression work, language justice, and domestic violence. The LJS will work with bilingual anti-domestic violence advocates state-wide to expand programming, resources, and accessibility to survivors who are often marginalized or ignored in primarily English-speaking programs. They will also work with anti-domestic violence programs to create policies and protocols that foster safer, more supportive, and more equitable working environments for bilingual advocates. The LJS works closely with the Culturally Responsive Training Manager, Economic Justice Specialist, and Training and Technical Assistance Specialist to help member organizations create programming that is inclusive, accessible, and seeks to address historical trauma, oppression, and disenfranchisement. The Associate Director of Finance, Grants & Administration (ADFGA) is a critical position that works closely with the Executive Director and other senior leadership staff. The main roles of the ADFGA are to ensure the agency’s overall financial health and strategically lead the finance and accounting areas of the organization in accordance with Wings’ mission, objectives, and policies, including overseeing restricted and non-restricted funding sources in strong compliance with funding partners. The ADFGA also leads all administrative and human resources (HR) functions to support strong infrastructure for Wings’ organizational and programmatic work. Specifically, the ADFGA will develop effective financial strategies, monitor all financial activities, ensure all grant compliance measures, promote revenue growth, and maintain strong relationships with grant funders. Pueblo Child Advocacy Center

SALARY: $26.10- $36.05

DESCRIPTION: The Child & Family Mental Health Provider will provide short term interventions with children, teens, and caregivers aimed at alleviating trauma symptoms and to enhance caregiver skills. Treatment will focus on enhancing child-caregiver communication and teaching effective coping skills to manage overwhelming emotions. The counselor will assist in identifying needs of the family and coordinate with the Family Advocates to enhance the family’s access to community resources and ongoing support as needed.
